Who Are We?

What is this church about?
Most  of us have experienced that awkward feeling of being the unfamiliar  face in a new place.  At Walnut Grove Community  Church, we may be a  small congregation, but we have BIG, caring hearts and want to make sure that every guest and new face feels comfortable and at home when walking through our doors.

When are worship services held?
Our  worship service is held each Sunday morning at 9:30am.  This service is  a nice blend of beloved hymns and modern worship songs, along with  responsive readings, scripture lessons, a children's message, prayers,  an offering and a biblically based sermon that integrates faith in our  daily lives.

On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, our church choir joins us with special music.

The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated and shared on the 1st Sunday of every month

The service lasts approximately one hour.
After  worship service, we invite you to walk next door to our reception  building, Koinonia, for conversation, coffee or tea....and a snack.

What do I wear?
The answer is simple, "Whatever makes you comfortable".  Come as you are.

Wherever  you are in your faith journey, we welcome you and invite you to join us  in a safe place where we can worship together as a diverse community of  believers.  Come check us out...and welcome.
