Preliminary Arrangements

Let's get your wedding date on our calendar! The church sanctuary will seat a maximum of 150 guests in 12 rows of pews. Aisle length is 44 1/2 feet. You can see photos by scrolling down to the photo gallery. Please call 916 776-1106 to schedule, and for a time to visit the church, talk with the pastor and make your preliminary church wedding plans.

Preliminary Arrangements

Weddings will only be accepted after meeting with the pastor for a time of examining the meaning of marriage and formulating a wedding ceremony that is personal and appropriate. A Marriage license must be obtained and brought to the pastor at the time of the wedding rehearsal. Licenses can be obtained from:

Renting Koinonia Hall

There are two great ladies to help you coordinate all details of your special day. They have a lot of experience with seating arrangements, candles, music, photographs and more. Call the church to schedule a time to talk it over. A checklist might include:

Fees, Scheduling, Wedding Coordinators, Music, Meeting with the Pastor, The Rehearsal, The Reception, Photographs, Flowers and Candles.

Koinonia Hall has a capacity of 75 people with a full kitchen, tables and coverings, chairs and inside restrooms. See the photo gallery below for more images. It's ideal for small gatherings, Bridal showers, baby showers, meetings, and family celebrations. Call for details.

The Bride's Room

The church has a pipe organ, piano and good speaker system for vocals.  Church musicians are available for hire. Give us a call if you would like a tour and demonstration of sound.

The church has a special room for the bride to dress, with a restroom just down the hall and private door and walkway for the bride's entrance into the church before she walks down the isle. It's roomy enough for bridesmaids and Mom too.
